I’ve seen ads on bananas for a really long time...back to the original Despicable Me, if not earlier. I’m more confounded that the other day I got a banana that was NOT from Dole or Chiquita, and this was from a major grocery store. I imagine there were some cartel-like executions in the jungles of Panama over that.
